Ask Abi, week 19

Your questions, answered.

Question 1

"Any tips on how to make my hair shinier?" - Christine

My answer

To help boost the shine, I'd recommend adding Wavy Hair Oil into your routine.

After styling (once your hair is dry) you can scrunch a few drops of oil into your waves.

This can help smooth the cuticle, lock in moisture and give your hair that glossy, polished look you're after.

Just be careful to use a tiny amount, start small.

Build up if needed, to avoid weighing your hair down.

A few drops are usually all it takes to add that beautiful shine!

Question 2

"I'm happy first wash and then have lots of knots the next day. How do I get rid of them?" - Victoria

My answer

It sounds like your hair might just need a quick refresh between washes.

I’d recommend lightly misting your hair with water or using a spray bottle to dampen it, then applying a small amount of either step 4 or 5.

You can gently finger-comb or scrunch your hair to reshape it and help detangle any knots.

If your hair feels dry, you can also smooth a tiny bit of the Wave Cream over the mid-lengths and ends.

This should help keep your waves looking defined and soft without weighing them down.

Or of course, you can use our Refresh Spray for an easy refresh.
