Question 1

"How do I stop my waves going frizzy/less defined after sleeping on them?" - Steph

My Answer

There are a few simple tricks that can really help protect your hair overnight and keep your waves looking fresher for longer...

1) Pineapple your hair

Gently tie your hair in a loose, high ponytail (right on top of your head) using a soft scrunchie.

This helps preserve your wave pattern and stops them from getting squashed while you sleep.

2) Use a silk sleep bonnet

Wrapping your hair in a silk bonnet reduces friction.

Helping to prevent frizz, flattening and moisture loss overnight.

3) Sleep on a silk pillowcase

If you prefer not to wear anything on your head, a silk pillowcase is a brilliant alternative.

It’s gentle on your hair and helps keep your style intact.

Combining one or two of these tips can make a huge difference!

Question 2

"If I’m using the Plex Treatment do I need to wash with the Clarifying Shampoo first? " - Bron

My Answer

It’s perfect to use after the Clarifying Shampoo, especially since clarifying can be a bit drying.

The Plex helps restore moisture and strengthens your hair.

But you can absolutely use it after Step 1 Shampoo too.

Just make sure your hair is soaking wet before applying it.

Work it through evenly, detangle and leave it in for a couple of hours (or even overnight if you like!)
