1. Wash hair with Clarifying Shampoo
2. Conditioner as normal or if hair is very dry, apply Deep Conditioning Treatment.
You need to re-hydrate your hair post clarifying as it will be dry.
3. Apply styling products as normal
Only clarify when your hair is feeling greasy, heavy or full of product. This may only be once a month. Do not apply more than once per week as your hair will become too dry,

A clarifying shampoo will strip away the layers of product residue. It’ll break down the dirt and excess oils.
It’ll unclog your hair follicles, allowing your scalp to breath. Thus promoting healthier, more robust hair.
How To Use

I have always struggled with my hair - I knew it wasn't dead straight, and if drying naturally it was a frizzy mess, which I just assumed was damage.
Along came the Curly Girl method, but as my hair isn't curly, it made my hair feel heavy and dry - I gave up and went back to straightening. Then I came across Merwave and thought I'd give it one last try. I finally feel like I've found the right, lightweight products - the waves just needed teasing out and being prepared the right way. It doesn't always come out perfectly, but I know that's because I'm in the "transition" period, and I'm determined to persevere.

Was doubting if I even had real waves and curls when I woke up each morning with flat, crumpled and frizzy hair; even after using a cap. This made my hair spring back into spirals within ten seconds. Wash day postponed. It's not even sticky or crispy, just soft, bouncy and smells glorious.
