Plex Treatment vs. Deep Conditioning Mask

If you have wavy hair, you may often feel overwhelmed by the array of hair care products available.

Plex treatments and deep conditioning masks are often confused. Using the wrong one for your specific hair needs can prevent your hair from reaching its full potential.

Here’s a clear breakdown to help you choose the right treatment for your hair:

Plex Treatment

This treatment focuses on restoring damaged hair. Broken bonds are caused by chemical treatments, heat, or environmental factors. This leads to spongy, weak hair strands and split ends.

Our Repair & Restore Plex Treatment contains two small molecule ingredients (Hydroxypropylgluconamide and Hydroxypropylammonium Gluconate). These ingredients penetrate the hair shaft to reconnect these broken bonds.

It is recommended for you to use the Plex Treatment when hair feels dull or damaged. It can be left on for an extended period (up to overnight) for maximum repair.

Using it can strengthen your hair by 3X compared to untreated hair.

Deep Conditioning Mask

The mask infuses dry or frizzy hair with nutrients. This gives the hair nourishment and hydration.

It is rich in moisturising ingredients like oils and extracts. This ensures that your hair remains soft and healthy. The oils help to seal in moisture which prevents dryness and brittleness. The extracts provide essential nutrients that promote overall hair health.

It is recommended to use the Deep Conditioning Hair Mask around every 7-10 days to maintain softness and hydration.

For those with blonde, grey or silver hair, the Purple Deep Conditioning Hair Mask provides the same benefits as the deep conditioning mask, whilst also neutralising any yellow or brassy tones.

So in conclusion…

If your hair is damaged (feels spongy with split ends), restore it using the Plex Treatment.

If your hair is dry and frizzy give it a hydration hit by using the Deep Conditioning Mask.
