Ask Abi, week 27

Your questions, answered.

Question 1

"Can you leave the hair wrap on for too long? I’m worried it will absorb the product off my hair." - Diane

My Answer

You can leave a hair wrap on for too long, but it depends on your hair type and how much moisture it holds.

What happens if you leave it too long?

✅ Up to 20-30 minutes

Ideal for absorbing excess water without stripping moisture.

❌ Too long (e.g. 1+ hours)

The fabric can start pulling moisture and product from your hair, which can leave it feeling dry.

How to get the best results:

10-20 minutes is usually perfect.

It removes excess water while still keeping hydration locked in.

Question 2

"Recently started letrozole for breast cancer. My hair now feels dry and ‘fluffy’ I always use steps 1,2,4,5. Should I use step 3 or a conditioning mask and how often?" - Anne

My Answer

Thank you for opening up, sending you love and strength as you navigate treatment ❤️

Letrozole can leave hair feeling dry and fluffy, but a few small changes can make a big difference.

Try adding Step 3 for extra protein, start with a small amount and see how your hair responds.

You could also use our Plex Treatment every couple of weeks to help strengthen and smooth.
