Having very fine, low density hair, that gets overloaded with product so easily, my hair is somewhat frustrating and a challenge every day. Too much conditioner and it goes flat, too many products and it’s stringy looking. Wake up in the morning I look like a scarecrow, I really didn’t know what to use and what not to use because everyone with lovely curls seems to use everything and loads of it! I have to be really careful to use the tiniest amount of everything. About two months ago I was nearly ready to give up my curly journey, I’ve been on it for two years now and with each trim I could see my pre damaged straightened hair slowly being cut off and the waves and curls starting to show, this gave me hope especially when I got the odd good curly day I’d be so happy because a good curl day makes me look like I’ve got some extra hair with body. Anyway I’ve been through numerous curly brands, bought sooo many products and never really feeling I’d got it right, but just recently I thought I’m going to go back to basics and give it one last shot, I took away the, deep conditioners, leave in curl creams, gels and anything I thought might be too much for my hair, and try something much less producty and heavy, So now I only use Merwave shampoo, tiny amount of conditioner, which I have to use to comb out any knots, then use two to three pumps of number 4 cast foam worked all over my hair and scrunched , then using my microfiber towel gently blot the surplus water off, then spritz with refresh spray, scrunch again followed by my diffuser. I partially dry my hair , get dressed, makeup on and my hairs then normally dry. I feel a slight cast on my hair from the cast foam which seems enough to hold my waves for the day. I give a quick scrunch and fluff at my roots and now I seem to have, soft, defined waves and curls, much less producty and more defined . I’m so much more happier with it now, just hope my new regime keeps working.

I’ve been using Merewaves products for about 6 months now. I started with the full 1-5 stages. Over time I’ve tweaked my routine adding and removing to suit my hair. I’m really satisfied with my waves (even thought they still sometimes do their own thing 🤷‍♀️

I started using all the products over a year ago. When I go to my hairdresser I take the travel ones with me for her to use . She loves them. My hair was wavy but now I have full on ringlet curls when I use merwave . I believe the products work as well on curly hair as they do on wavy.
